 Urns

Memorial Urns are permanent containers for the cremated body. A wide range of styles and prices appropriate for burial, niches, scattering, keepsakes or discreet placement in a home. Your personal plans for the final placement of the urn can play an important part in you selection process.

At Evergreen Memorial Gardens, we have categorized our urns as to what they are best used for.

  • Permanent Urns - Those that do not disintegrate over time when buried in a cemetery. There are many different types - bronze, copper, marble, slate, steel, etc. A permanent urn may be required by cemetery regulations, as might an Urn Vault to place it within
  • Non-Permanent Urns - These are mainly wooden, glass, or ceramic urns. Wood urns are most often used for display in homes, niches or when buried in a cemetery with the idea of ashes to ashes and dust-to-dust
  • Scattering and/or Garden Urns - We offer several specialized vessels of containment which return to nature when placed either in water or in earth
  • Keepsake, Infant Urns and Pendants - Family members often want to memorialize their loved ones by retaining a small portion of the cremated remains, a lock of hair or dried flowers. A variety of small keepsake and infant urns and pendants are available for this purpose. Keepsake and infant urns are manufactured from the same materials as regular urns. Keepsake urns are often available as a matching set to any of our full size urns selected. Keepsake pendants are crafted by jewelers as a remembrance of a loved one to be either worn or displayed. They are generally made out of gold, silver, brass or pewter.

We have selected a number of urns we carry at our facility to display on this site. We have tried to provide a choice in all categories. In addition to the urns displayed here, we showcase many urns in our facility. We also have catalogues displaying more urn selections.

 Urn Vaults

Every cemetery has its own burial requirements. Depending on which cemetery you choose, you may be required to purchase an outer burial container to surround the urn in the grave. These outer containers are often referred to as urn vaults. We can help you determine if you will need an urn vault, and which one is right for you.
